What do I do with the apples?

When ordering our apples we recommend that once received, you keep your apples refrigerated to maximize the shelf life. To serve, bring the apple to room temperature and cut into sixteen wedges. They can be served as an appetizer, a dessert or even a meal! Uneaten portions can be moistened with lemon juice and refrigerated. Enjoy!

How are the apples shipped?

All packages are shipped by US Priority Mail. We ship Monday and Tuesday of each week. We prefer to ship the beginning of the week to avoid the apples sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. For an additional shipping charge we can ship UPS if your gift must absolutely arrive on a specific date.

How long do the apples last?

The apples are perishable and should be refrigerated to last three weeks. Brushing the cut apple slices with lemon juice will keep the pieces from browning.

What kind of apples do you use?

We use locally grown Michigan apples whenever possible. Usually Fugi, Braeburn or Courtland for their tart flavor which compliments the sweet and salty layers.

How are they packaged?

They are wrapped and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.
